INERTIE
For its fourth creation, the Underclouds company presents “Inertie”, a work combining installation and performance in public space. Two tightrope walkers and a sculptor bring to life a giant mobile structure inspired by a stranded spinning top.
Set in motion by the performers, the sculpture becomes a true partner, shifting between balance, imbalance, suspension and rotation. The artists move along narrow curved surfaces, creating unexpected movements where poetry, control and gravity constantly interact. The sculpture gradually turns into a character of its own, forming an unusual trio that invites audiences to experience the piece through playful, geometric, scientific or dreamlike interpretations and emotional perspectives.
