BAMBOO
Directed by Mish Weaver, BAMBOO is a spectacular high-impact, high-skill outdoor circus production using only bamboo and human bodies.
The artists break through the crowds brandishing a variety of bamboo sticks on which they climb, vault and spin. They discover bundles which unfold into towering sculptures that morph and evolve into an animated circus installation.
BAMBOO changes the lived experience of a place for all who witness it; High Street and civic spaces are forever changed by the memory of the bamboo circus forest that passed through like a whirlwind

A NoFit State production directed by Mish Weaver, in collaboration with Orit Azaz and Imagineer Productions. It is supported by the Arts Council of Wales, the Foyle Foundation, and Without Walls, and commissioned by Stockton International Riverside Festival, Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Hat Fair and Timber Festival.
