        NEST
A mentoring initiative, Spraoi, in partnership with ISACS (the Irish Street Art, Circus and Spectacle Network) offer emerging street artists, through the NEST programme, the opportunity to develop new work and present it to a public audience in a nurturing environment.
It heightens the artists profile among programmers - national and international
- and provides ongoing mentoring, support and guidance from NEST partners. Previous NEST participants have gone on to tour their shows and take part in residencies with festivals in Ireland and internationally.
For 2019 the NEST acts are under the mentorship of Jan Patzke and Olivia Quayle from the renowned UK dance circus company, Joli Vyann, who have performed their own shows many times at Spraoi.
The NEST shows for 2019 will be presented on Friday and Saturday evenings.

HUMAN COLLECTIVE
A new work, exploring complex relationships, the search for self and the power shift within friendship. Influenced by the writing of Charles Bukowski, this tangled piece of dance examines the nuance of blame and shame. By observing the points of intersection between these two states, do we eventually find balance?
Performers: Matt Szczerek and Cristian Dirocie.
Established in 2016, Human Collective
is a company of creatives from a variety
of artistic disciplines. Dance is the
thing that brings them together. As a
new Dance – Theatre Company, they
are committed to developing a dance landscape that places street dance
within the context of contemporary
arts discourse. Most recently Human Collective presented FABLE at Dublin Fringe at Project Art Centre. The work was nominated for Best Ensemble Award.
