Waterford Youth Reach students have created a series of individual art works which will form part of an installation titled ‘Between Land and Sea’. Over three days of workshops with artists Magda Karol and Tara Myler, with arts tutors Aimee Roche and Gary Kenneally students etched coastal themed images. This is a Creative Ireland and SETU environmentally inspired ACT, climate action project, partnered by Waterford City and County Council. Spraoi’s project already features street performance character ‘Seaweed Girl’. The art installation created by Youth Reach and Spraoi artists is currently nearing completion and will be displayed in several venues and at environmentally orientated events in 2026.
