Spraoi’s Heineken Weekender on Waterford’s atmospheric O’Connell Street offers festival goers three days and nights of exceptional free music and cultural experiences. Partnered by Thomas Maher’s, Tully’s, and Phoenix Yard Market, Spraoi offers fun lovers a mix of food, beverages, friendliness, and contemporary Irish street culture. This is Spraoi’s official music stage.

Elenor Shanley and Mike Hanrahan

Elenor Shanley is a stunning interpreter of songs, featured on her platinum selling album ‘Eleanor Shanley and Friends’,
Mike has written an array of songs, not least the timeless ‘Beautiful Affair’.

Forge Hounds

Inspired by classic rock legends like Thin Lizzy and ZZ Top, with punky Undertones and Hanoi Rocks infusions,
Forge Hounds rock ‘n’ roll large! Let your good times roll!

Japanese Taiko Drumming

Ki means bundle of energy, Bo means the stick, and Daiko means this type of Japanese drumming.
The group are students at the Taiko Dojo Monika Volmer school in Helmer, Germany.

Omega 3

For lovers of Americana in all its styles Omega 3 are for you. At the band’s musical heart are distinctive vocals
ayered with guitar, bass, and additional tuneful additions.

L’Homme-Orchestre

With captivating dexterity, this virtuoso musician-cum-puppeteer performs rhythmic melodies in a South-American style.
It is an incredible physical and musical performance!

Two-Time Polka

Interweaving bluegrass, Cajun, and country influences with rock ‘n’ roll riffs the band is an ideal companion
for an afternoon spent in sunshine with friends and a cold beer

Washed Out

Washed Out’s exciting brand of jazz-tinged indie-funk and pop has been making waves. The six-piece band recently released their debut EP “Tús” with various
producers, including renowned drummer Christian Best of Monique Studios in Midleton.

Banna Rua

For ten years Bana Rua has harmonised across a range of popular venues. Now a four-piece with Cian Dalton on double bass, Bana Rua bring fresh sounds to
audiences with an exciting mix of new original music and their toe-tapping collection of classic songs.

Sleeze ‘n’ Cheeze

Reformed in 2016, after originally disbanding in 1990, Sleeze ‘n’ Cheeze are back to recreate the madness, mayhem and mullets of the 80’s rock years.
Performing hits from rock heavyweights such as Bon Jovi, Van Halen, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Journey, Guns N Roses, and many more,
the Cheeze deliver high energy performancesand recreate an 80’s rock atmosphere regardless of the venue they play.
