Spraoi will present an installation artwork titled ‘Coastal Cube’ at Carrickpherish Library from Tuesday, April 21st. ‘Coastal Cube’ celebrates seashores, their plants and marine animals.
The cube’s surfaces consists of artworks created by students of Waterford Youth Reach, led by Spraoi artists Magda Karol, Tara Myers and Graham Phelan. It also contains a marine audio story for children, narrated by Nicholas Kavanagh with music by Micko Roche. This project was partnered by SETU as part of it’s climate action project with Creative Ireland’s ACT initiative and by Waterford City and County Council.
