Hosted by ISACS, delegates from European street arts and circus network Circostrada visited Waterford and Wexford during Spraoi International Street Arts Festival 2024.
Southern Regional Assembly hosted a reception at its O’Connell Street headquarters to welcome the visitors and their Irish counterparts.
They were welcomed by Cathaoirleach of Southern Regional Assembly Garrett Kelleher, Mayor of Waterford Cllr. Jason Murphy, Associate Director Culture Ireland Kieran Walsh, and Spraoi Artistic Director Mike Leahy. The Circostrada delegation visit enabled European and Irish street arts professionals to meet, share ideas, and initiate new relationships at a series of events including PITCH and Street Talk. Spraoi Festival is most appreciative of Southern Regional Assembly and Culture Ireland funding these interactions.
