Shape Of The Sky

This playful three-part aerial performance features six extraordinary circus artists exploring what connects us, lifts us, and helps us grow. With silks, trapeze, and sky-high storytelling — it’s for anyone who’s ever dreamed big, held on, or had the courage to let go.
Taking Flight presents Shape of the Sky. Six aerialists. Three sky-high stories. One unforgettable journey through movement, imagination, and connection.
The Shape of the Sky is a trilogy of aerial stories, each 20 minutes long, told through silks, trapeze, and aerial cocoons. Together, these acts explore what holds us, what moves us, and how the sky becomes ours to reimagine. Combining grace, endurance, and poetic storytelling, it’s aerial theatre that speaks across generations.
- ACT I — New Muses
Living paintings come to life. Six performers inhabit the world of the Old Masters, asking: What does it mean to be seen, to belong, or to step beyond the edge of the picture? - ACT II — Into the Blue
Memory, motion, and emotional flight. Three aerialists drift through inner space — between gravity and transformation — turning introspection into grace. - ACT III — Holdfast
Mischief. Trust. Sisterhood in flight. Three women swing, fall, and catch each other through chaos and joy. This is the story of what stays — when everything else let’s go.
