Noisy Noise Noise

Shhh… just kidding. Make some noise! A playful sound library with over 90 books that trigger weird, wonderful, and occasionally rude noises, it’s a chaotic celebration of creativity!
Noisy Noise Noise is an interactive sound library for noisy children and their grown-ups.
With over 90 hand-crafted books, each embedded with touch sensors, this playful installation turns gentle presses into unexpected noises — from songs and silly soundbites to film clips, memes, and cheeky surprises.
Created by Working Boys Club (the twin duo behind Serving Sounds), the project was developed in partnership with over 200 schoolchildren from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Through hands-on workshops exploring creativity, sound, and conductivity, kids helped shape the look, feel and spirit of the piece — ensuring everyone is seen and heard.
The result is a joyful, rowdy, fully interactive sound installation perfect for festivals, libraries, schools and family events. It invites curiosity, rewards playfulness, and celebrates the power of noise.
The installation comes with a standard sound set, but it can also be customised for bespoke events or themes — just ask!
