Beautiful Bones – Brass Spectacular
One of Waterford’s favourite brass bands, City of Waterford Brass, will be one of the cornerstones of the spectacles that make up this spectacular opening event of Spraoi 2023, as Beautiful Bones explores, in a slightly irreverent way, how we deal with death.
City of Waterford Brass are a traditional type brass band with a very un-traditional approach to their music-making – especially when it comes to their interactions with Spraoi audiences. They really enjoy their music and try to bring an air of theatre each time they play. The dynamic of young and not-so-young members in the band keeps them all vibrant, very evident in their performances.
