For Culture Night (Sept. 18th) Spraoi Studios will open to visitors between 4.00 & 6.00 p.m. This unique opportunity is free. It offers visitors a chance to see where Spraoi Parades, Halloween shows, and other spectacles are designed and created. See the workshops, rehearsal, and costume rooms, and your visit will offer great family-pics opportunities.

Spraoi Studios in Waterford are Ireland’s only purpose built street performance creation centre. The studios are home to award winning spectacle specialists Waterford Spraoi. Spraoi’s street productions have featured at events all over Ireland and during the annual Spraoi International Street Arts Festival. Throughout each year a team of artists build floats, make costumes, and rehearse performances at the studios. Other artists from all over Ireland regularly use the facility to create, develop, and rehearse new street shows.
