Waterford Credit Union celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. It plans an array of events marking the occasion, including performances in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parades in Waterford and Tramore.
Spraoi and City of Waterford Brass join forces to celebrate with Waterford Credit Union in the Waterford parade. WCU is taking inspiration from the bee, who gathers pollen, saves it, and creates honey for the winter. The bee is a little like Credit Union members who save for when they need it. The WCU parade entry is a giant mobile honeycomb accompanied by a swarm of musical bees. Tramore will have it’s own themed and costumed presentation. Look out for both on St. Patrick’s Day.
